OZAMIZ CITY:For Vicente Ebcay, good times may have ended.
Ebcay, 40, and a security guard, was rushed to the hospital on October 30 after his wife, Marilou, sliced off his penis with a dagger in a jealous rage.
A report from 1005th Police Mobile Group (PMG) headed by group director Superintendent Edgar Daniel said the incident occurred in the bedroom of the family’s house in Pulot,Ozamiz City around 10:00 am, Friday.
Marilou, the police said, suspected her husband of having affairs and having tired of it, planned to stop her husband from seeing other women. The incident was triggered after finding a text message from other woman on his mobile phone asking her husband for sex.
According to a report that after Ebcay washes their clothes, Marilou offered him to drink a bottle of Tanduay.
So when Ebcay went to sleep, Marilou, kept a dagger near her and when the opportunity rose, cut off her husband’s penis and tossed it away to the grassy area.
The victim said that he was not able to defend himself for he was drunk and Marilou hit him on the head with a piece of wood.
A bleeding and screaming Ebcay was rushed to the Misamis University Medical Center (MUMC) by his relatives.
Ebcay’s relatives tried to locate the organ but were failed to find.
Police said that Ebcay denied he was cheating on his wife and said he was not yet able to decide on filing charges against her.
